Copywriting Profile:
Mark Twain once said, "The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and the lightning bug.” As not just a copywriter, but a SEO-friendly copywriter, those are words I live by. When keywords and content are put together to represent your company (which is YOU), you want those words to be affective. All of your literature (digital or print) must target your audience, persuade your audience and appeal to them emotionally.
If you’re on the web, you want those words to be richly saturated with niche keywords. That is how the search engines find your site. That is how searchers find you. That is why it is important to work with a SEO-friendly copywriter, not just a typical copywriter or a web design company that only handles copy. This type of writing can also be utilized for your traditional print materials, such as brochures, to make them more effective and draw your reader in.
A little history on me:
I started out as a copywriter. Then I began offering SEO services. When I did that, I realized how important it was for me to change my style and become a SEO-friendly copywriter for every single business item I write. Even if it is not for the web, it needs to be keyword rich and optimized accordingly and targeted at your niche. It makes all the difference in the world. But this has to be done in a way that doesn’t compromise the readability of the content. The content still has to be compelling, engaging, and well read. If the keywords and keyword phrases aren’t placed well, the content will be choppy and turn the reader away.
One of the hallmarks of great copy is specific, descriptive words instead of a bunch of fluff. Specificity also aids the reader because is clearly demonstrates the keyword relevancy, allows for more dynamic copy and allows the writer to employ the keywords feasibly within the content. To be direct – if done right, “SEO-friendly copywriting will target your audience while entertaining, engaging and encouraging them to take the action for mutual benefits.
So what type of copywriting & SEO-friendly copywriting have I done? Well, take a gander:
Website content from scratch
Website content update
Building Meta tags for websites
Blogs
Press Releases
Marketing Articles
Headlines
Newsletters
Brochures
Sales letters
Business Letters
Employee Manuals
Speeches
I am also a writer for Elance (elance.com). Find me there under “nrevell” and review my profile and client feedback. If you don’t see something on my list above that you need, I can and will still do that for you. All that means is that I haven’t had that request yet, not that I can’t do it. I am experienced, driven, client-focused, and pretty easy to work with. That’s always a plus!
