Zahida A Khan... 

Zahida started her career as a Technical Trainer after earning her degree in 1986. She graduated with a B.A., while specializing in Computer Business Systems and Programming. She worked with New York Life, Drake International, and McDonald Douglas. Because of her strong, well-developed technical and interpersonal skills, Zahida, after graduating, began managing Trainers, coaching and mentoring a team of Trainers across Canada while working for Drake International.

Zahida was given the opportunity to build a training company for a Toronto Computer Manufacturer in the late ‘80s. Within a few months she turned the new training company into a lucrative profit center.

After a year of building the training company, Zahida gained the confidence and skills to venture out on her own and started a technical training company, LEXUS Computer Training Inc. in the summer of 1990. 

At LEXUS, her organization offered technical LAN training to Systems Administrators, Applications program training, Custom Training, Train-the-Trainer, and Project Management. 

This Training business grew through the mid ‘90s to offer a wide spectrum of services from Training, Custom database application development, Web development, Hosting, Networking, and Custom Systems Projects for their client’s specific needs.

Zahida sold LEXUS in February 1999 to start another venture, LEXXtech. 

LEXXtech’s concentration is “providing ebusiness solutions for a digital world”. The main focus of LEXXtech is to understand a company’s many business processes and to identify which ones are best suited for online applications. LEXXtech offers, hosting, web design, web programming, database application, web software development, online marketing and anything that has to do with the online world.

Zahida’s exceptional technical and relationship skills allows her to simplify this process – by meeting with the stakeholders and studying all the various business processes, she is able to identify which processes would best fit the digital world.

She takes the time to map out the processes and edify the client/prospect on how their current, traditional business systems would best work and be supportive in the digital world. As well, she works closely with many companies to ensure they have the right online marketing presence through various methods of positioning a client’s site with the top search engines. Many clients depend on LEXXtech’s SEO, Search Engine Optimization & Indexing services for bringing in online sales, so in effect LEXXtech has become the ‘lead generating and sales team’ for many of its clients.

This simple approach of pragmatic edification dramatically separates LEXXtech from other Web Companies, as LEXXtech has the ability to comprehensively ensure that the client fully understands and collaborates with LEXXtech on how their current business processes will work online. 

While highly excelling in an increasingly technical world from mid ‘80s, Zahida has seen many technical projects fail elsewhere primarily because they were initiated and dominated from a Technical perspective, not from the user’s/stakeholders perspective, (High-touch). 

This is the main reason that LEXXtech consistently focuses on the stakeholder / user / client requirements and then develops the right cost effective systems, (High-tech) to fully support their expectations, and requirements.
